AntaresDressage.com is a a site designed to help sell top quality imported dressage horses to clients across the US and Canada.  The basic goal is to provide as much information as possible to visitors to help them make informed decisions.  Clients fly from as far away as the west coast of Canada to visit the farm in North Carolina.  We needed to provide enough information to make it worthwhile for travelers to visit the farm and try horses for sale.  We needed good photos, videos, and sales support features.  Additionally, with marketing costs so high, there needed to be better ways to measure marketing results. 

The key attribute of this site is the price request feature.  The visitor request for information is added to a SQL database and the information is automatically emailed to the requestor.  The data is then used to track marketing results.  Visitors are plotted on a Google map.  There is a control panel which tracks all requests, summarizing marketing sources, dates of activity, locations and email addresses. 

When passive web site visitors are turned into active site users everyone wins.  The same ad dollar that brought the visitor to the site initially is recycled.  Once in the database, a visitor can be emailed when a new horse is available or an existing sale horse has updated photos and video.  They can remove themselves from the mailing list at any time as well.
